Camp COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
Any camps not listed below are held at A-Game Sports and follow our facility guidelines.
Baseball/Softball
General Guidelines and Rules
- Campers bring their own equipment including bat, helmet and glove. Catchers should bring their own gear if they have it.
- Lunch time maximum of 2 to 4 kids per table, depending on size of table that will allow 6 feet of distancing in any direction. Certain situations may require staggered lunch times to allow for social distancing.
- Campers must bring their own water bottles. Water coolers will not be available.
- If a camper does not have equipment on a specific day, he or she will be able to borrow it from A-GAME SPORTS for the day. All of the equipment will be disinfected both before and after each camp day.
- Campers will be prohibited from licking their fingers or spitting on the field. Any deliberate or repeated violation of that policy will result in removal from camp.
- Campers cannot share cups or water bottles.
- Campers will be required to either use hand sanitizer before and after snack/lunch.
- Campers will be expected to keep the social distance of 6 feet plus. A-GAME SPORTS will have a designated staff member on site with the sole responsibility of maintaining social distancing.
- Tables/chairs will be sprayed or wiped down after snack or lunch.
- Any situations that call for campers to be in line will require 6 feet distancing.
- Campers will not be allowed to use or have cell phones on them during camp hours. The cell phones must be kept in their camp bag and can only be used in the event of emergency.
- Campers will be assigned to a specific group on the first day of camp and must stay in that group throughout the whole camp week.
- Staff will wear face masks during camper check in and check out times and during other times where social distancing is challenging.
Specific To Outdoor Camp
- No face mask required unless the camper is in the dugout.
- Campers will be doing different drills throughout the day. Game play competition will not allow for tagging of runners or other actions specific to a sport that would compromise social distancing.
Specific To Indoor Camp
- A maximum of 24 campers will be allowed indoors for any camp session. This number reflects social distancing needs and spacing within the facility.
- Maximum of 2 campers per hitting tunnel or cage at a time.
- Maximum of 8 campers in the infield area at a time.
- Players inside the tunnels, cages and infield will not be required to wear face masks.
- Players waiting a turn outside of the designated area will be required to wear a face mask.
- A-GAME staff will be wearing masks for the entire camp day.
Basketball
General Guidelines and Rules
- Campers bring their own basketball.
- Campers must bring their own water bottles. Water coolers will not be available.
- If a camper does not have a basketball on a specific day, he or she will be able to borrow it from A-GAME SPORTS for the day. All of the basketballs will be wiped down both before and after each camp day.
- Campers will be prohibited from licking their fingers or spitting on the court. Any repeated and deliberate violation of that policy will result in removal from camp.
- Campers cannot share cups or water bottles.
- Campers will be required to use hand sanitizer before the start of each camp session and after it ends.
- Campers will be expected to keep the social distance of 6 feet plus. A-GAME SPORTS will have a designated staff member on site with the sole responsibility of maintaining social distancing.
- Any situations that call for campers to be in line will require 6 feet distancing.
- Campers will not be allowed to use or have cell phones on them during camp hours. The cell phones must be kept in their camp bag and can only be used in the event of emergency.

- Each camper is required to bring a face mask and have it on at check in as well as on when they leave. Face masks will not be required to be worn during drills and activities. In the event that a specific situation or drill makes social distancing difficult, participants will be asked to put on their face mask. If a participant chooses not to wear a face mask when required, he or she will be required to sit out for that specific activity.
