Field Hockey Mini Camp
The Field Hockey Summer Mini Camp is designed for both beginners looking to learn the basics of field hockey and experienced players looking to improve their skills and prepare for the upcoming fall season. Players will develop understanding of rules, participate in drills for skill development and tournament game play. Players will also get individualized skill development in areas of basic rules, proper grips and posture, ball and stick control, passing, shooting, and gameplay.

Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Register for one or two weeks. If not attending both weeks, please specify in comments box which week attending.

Day 1: Introduction to the sport, focus is on fundamentals: footwork, dribbling, hitting, and small sided play.
Day 2: Reinforce basic skill taught in day 1, teach passing, passing on the move, short corners, shooting and small sided play.
Day 3: Small sided play to start, break down situations, talk about rules.
Day 4: Game play scrimmage.
