Field Hockey Mini Camp
The Field Hockey Summer Mini Camp is designed for both beginners looking to learn the basics of field hockey and experienced players looking to improve their skills and prepare for the upcoming fall season. Players will develop understanding of rules, participate in drills for skill development and tournament game play. Players will also get individualized skill development in areas of basic rules, proper grips and posture, ball and stick control, passing, shooting, and gameplay.

Schedule
Monday – Thursday, 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Register for one to three weeks. You do not need to pick the week(s) you will be attending camp until June 1st.

Day 1: Introduction to the sport, focus is on fundamentals: footwork, dribbling, hitting, and small sided play.
Day 2: Reinforce basic skill taught in day 1, teach passing, passing on the move, short corners, shooting and small sided play.
Day 3: Small sided play to start, break down situations, talk about rules.
Day 4: Game play scrimmage.

Players are required to bring their own equipment.
No refunds or credits will be given for cancellation once weeks have been purchased. All registration fees are non-refundable unless a doctor’s note is provided stating that your camper is unable to participate in any physical activities during the seven available camp weeks.
Your child must have a signed release form and medical form completed by a physician in order to participate.
